2nd year show at uni today for the 3D Design and Digital Art & Technology courses. I get to see bits and pieces of student work as they come through my fabrication lab, but it’s always nice to get to see the finished results.
Today I witnessed lots of students being very stressed about their final submissions in the next few days. Wishing them all well, but also looking forward to getting the labs back in order once they are finished!
This survived all of 3 minutes before I’d taken it apart. If I didn’t know better I’d say this was another IoT project in the making!
Using the continuous ssh upload function in Working Copy, then using Prompt to upload the code to the arduino. (I mean, I could also just use Vim…)
Today I have been testing Working Copy, and how I might be able to use it to program an arduino connected to a raspberry pi without leaving my iPad. (Something I’ve previously done using either VNC or Prompt.)
I think Lancelot is really enjoying this apple.
It’s been a very busy week at uni. It’s deadline season, so all the students are in their last minute panic. I need to be getting on too, need to finish the drinks dispenser for them. So playing with pumps and tubing it is!
